Full Moon: Empty Goat
Gabby delivered two beautiful kids this evening around 9:30: a doe and a buckling. All are well and resting peacefully, in spite of the overnight temperature around 20. Yesterday when I noticed the moon near-to-full I wondered if we’d have some babies soon. Some old farmers around here swear the full moon brings the babies through. Well, I’m sure little Gabby appreciated the help!
The kids are darling – colored all brown and white, just like their mom. The girl has a brown face. The boy has a white face. Any suggestions for names?

Oh, I love these! Especially Wax and Wane. I was thinkin’ Barak and Bama. Or Barak and Michelle. Maggie wants to name the boy Indiana Jones. But then what for the girl? What do your kids think?

I think that the lambs should be named Sophia and Rares.

Now Maggie says Mork and Mindy. But she might agree to Indie and Sophie. Hmmm…
