Hi, Kriss. I hope you guys are doing okay after all this rain....it just keeps on coming....

Just wanted to let you know that Cricket lambed on Friday. She gave birth to a beautiful boy we've name Salmagundi (Sal for short!). We are thrilled. We'll keep him "intact" and he'll become a breeder for us. Thank you for letting Cricket "come visit", hope to return the favor. Hope you are well.

Hey Kriss, Thanks for sharing these recipes. I made the lemonade for company on Friday evening...and Charles came up to me afterwards and said " Mommy, I dont know why...but your lemonade was better that Mrs. Marions. Did you use her recipe?" Perhaps it was the the "jug" that I put in in. A wonderful thing that Andy and I got on our honeymoon...Charles likes to use things connected to history. Anyway, I guess Ginger Mint Lemonade is a keeper. We will enjoy the recipe all summer.

I am thinking of you as it continues to rain. We are all praying for the farmers. Knowing some, helps us celebrate and mourn right along with you. Thanks for taking risks and serving the community in so many ways with a CSA.

Blessings to you this week.

Hi, I was not sure what category to put this post under. I am friends with Jennifer Murphy and Dan Garrick, and they reccommended you for the question I have. We have a great, big (25 lbs!) cat that needs a good home. He could certainly be a happy barn cat. He's very affectionate and we are sad to give him away, but he's not great with kids in small spaces and we are having our first this winter. We'd love to find a good home for him by the fall. He's up to date with shots and we'd provide food for him. Please let me know if you're interested, or know of anyone else who would be. Thank you so very much!

Thanks for linking up to us, Ian. I'll be checking your project out when I've got a little inside downtime! As you can see from my post, I'm all about browsing the farm blogs. I'm always learning...

Hi there,

I'm a big fan of farm blogs (being a blogger myself) and I have been frustrated by the lack of a single place to go for farm blogs, not just from one country, but from around the world.

Hence, I've recently started a blog called www.farmblogs.blogspot.com

I've linked your blog to it, but if you'd like to send me an email to info AT ianwalthew DOT com with a few words about your blog, and about your favourite farm blogs, then it would be very much appreciated.

I should make a couple of things clear:

Firstly, it is not my intention to sell advertising on this blog, or take your content - simply steer people in the direction of farm blogs I find interesting, which means that,

Secondly, I am really trying to identify farm blogs that are primarily about farming (as oppossed to blogs written by people who may live on farms, but the subject of which isn't primarily about farming).

With kind regards,
Ian

P.S Good luck with the flood clean up.
