Video Introduction

Readers have several times criticized this site for not posting pictures of the human residents of Circle M farm. I guess our faces are just old hat to me. But if you want to see what we look like, check out this precious video introduction by one of our FLFFGs (favorite little frequent farm guests), Lucy Boyd. She is just learning to talk, and does an adorable job of identifying the people (and the pig) on our Christmas card.

Here are some more pictures of the people who take care of Circle M Market Farm year ‘round:

He may not look much like a farmer, but he can shovel some mean poop.

Oh, and so do you! I love the pictures from the Leopold Center bark-peeling day. One the the things I most loved about home-schooling my kids was watching them play/work in mud and trees and water and Legos. It’s wonderful you are able to provide them with such rich, connecting experiences. Bring them out here to work in the dirt this summer.

We would love to come and work in the dirt with you. I always enjoyed watching you with your kids….

When the snow melts….we will make plans.

Hey Chris, I’m so enjoying reading your blog and have just been on line with our public library reserving a few books by Wendell Berry and Gene Lodgson. I read farming books and magazines among other things during all 4 of my in-bed pregnancies and have been dreaming about having some land for quite a few years now. I don’t think I would want to do all that you are doing, but I would love to have a big garden and some animals to provide good food for our family.

Rob and I have been talking about bringing our kids and coming to visit you possibly sometime this spring or early summer if we can figure out something that works for you and for us. I’d love to hear from you if you have a few minutes to e-mail.
