Barnyard Pictures
Here are some snapshots of life in the small mama corral at Circle M. This is where we’ll keep the moms and babies penned until the grass grows enough for them to head out onto pasture.

Eli meets one of Polly’s lambs. She is a very wary mom, and while she’d never ram one of us, she is definitely anxious until we leave the pen.

This is Prissy and her babies at just about an hour old. They aren’t quite cleaned off yet, but mom is taking a break from licking them to eat a little grain. She deserves it!

Gosh, it looks like Prissy is always eating! I’m sure she needs it to feed all those lambs. So far it looks like she’s doing a good job taking care of all them.

Here Rainbow and Brite take a nap in an overturned feeder we’ve given the babies so they can get out of the way of the pushy moms if they need to. Look how they sleep with their arms around each other.

These all-white lambs are Polly’s triplets – we love how they have wrinkly skin!
