Soil Sisters Farm Tour: Sunday, August 5

Come visit Circle M and six other small farms in south central Wisconsin for the first annual Soil Sisters Farm Tour day. All seven farms are primarily led by women, all are sustainable small operations and all have lots of fun activities planned for visitors of all ages, with an emphasis on kid-friendly fun at each site. Sunday, August 5, 11 am to 4 pm.

From eggplants to emus, sheep to solar energy, bed & breakfasts to beef – these farms offer a unique diversity of farm experiences in one afternoon. Come celebrate summer bounty by visiting small family farms led by Wisconsin women committed to local agriculture and a healthy, fresh future for our children.

It’s FREE and open to the public. No registration is needed. Pack your boots and bring a cooler! There will be opportunities to purchase farm fresh produce and meats.

Here at Circle M we’ll be hosting Nibble Tours of the gardens all day, and in the shade near the house we’ll have wool felting activities set up, as well as spinning demonstrations. From 2 to 4 pm we’ll have live bluegrass music with MooGrass String Band! Bring a cooler if you are interested in purchasing beef or eggs. We’ll also have wool roving for sale.
