Visit Us

We find Circle M to be a really wonderful place to live, work and rest – and we are delighted to be able to share this land with you in a variety of ways throughout the year. Drop in to one of our farm festivals, take a class, or give us a call to make an appointment for a visit. CSA Members are free to camp on the farm and use our canoes, while Bed and Breakfast and Working Farm Stay guests are welcome to share our work, our meals and our wanders around the place.

We are located in the gorgeous Driftless area of Wisconsin, a landscape of rolling hills and patchwork farmland untouched by leveling glaciers. You’ll find us just 40 minutes southwest of Madison, directly east of Blanchardville, a tiny town of 800. The best way to find your way here is to use mapquest or GPS from your location, as there is no real direct route. You’ll be exploring a lot of country roads – just make sure to follow the directions pretty carefully!

    Hi Kriss,
It was nice to talk to you yesterday. I forgot to mention that I am interested in learning about fiber and the fiber arts and saw that you teach classes. Could I also take a class with you while I am doing the working farmstay? Or is there another resource I could look into for a class on fiber, dyeing, spinning etc?

Thank you so much! Love the pictures. Vicki says hi.

Hi, Amy! I probably couldn’t pull off a full fiber class during the height of the season in July. You’ll notice I only offer classes thru April on the website ;) But I’m sure we could work out something abbreviated. WE do mini-classes at our festivals in June and October. Your best bet is to come up here in the off season – this weekend, for instance! Or next winter – do a B&B stay for the weekend of a class. There are certainly lots of other places in WI you could play with wool – Shake Rag Alley in Mineral Point, Cat and the Crow shop in Mount Horeb are nearby places that I know.

    Hi Kriss,

I wanted set some concrete dates for the farm visit. We discussed the first week of July and tentatively penciled it in. I was wondering if Wednesday, June 27th-Tuesday July 3rd would work for you?

    Thank you,
    Amy
