Go ahead and grab a new skill this year! Ever wanted to learn to knit, spin, felt, dye, garden or just have a fun learning experience out on the farm? We’ve got the perfect class for you – and your day will include a petting tour of the pastures where you’ll meet all the animals! Classes are all on Saturdays from 1 to 4:30pm and cost $70 with all the materials you’ll need - including wine, cheese and other age-appropriate snacks! Our curricula are designed with serious adult students in mind, but children are always welcome with an attentive partner (sometimes without, depending on age and experience), but we’ve noted the classes that are most suited to young crafters. Register with 2 friends and each take $5 off. We don’t have a published schedule for this winter, but check out our Class Descriptions and contact us to schedule a date for your favorite class or classes.
Most of our classes can be offered off-site as well as on-farm. Kriss Marion currently teaches several fiber classes per season at Shake Rag Alley in Mineral Point and felting field trips several days a week at Folklore Village in Dodgeville. She also teaches art classes at Grandview in Hollandale and after-school programs for the Pecatonica and Argyle grade schools. Kriss also teaches garden classes in the winter and spring at various conferences and clubs. Please contact her for pricing and scheduling information.
